Who publishes this site

LivingInAquiaHarbour.com is published by Local Hand Co and written by Alex Keeton in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Where this policy says “we” or “us,” it means Local Hand Co.

The site exists to answer questions about living in Aquia Harbour. It does not display listings and does not create user accounts. It is not affiliated with the Aquia Harbour Property Owners Association.

What we collect

What you type into a form. Depending on the form, that is your first name and email address, and sometimes your last name, phone number, budget range, must-haves, moving timeline, a note you write, or the address of a home you'd like valued. We also record which page and which form it came from.

Standard server records. Our web host keeps ordinary access logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, referring page and time) for security and troubleshooting.

What we do not collect

We do not collect payment card numbers, bank details, Social Security numbers or credit information, and there are no accounts or passwords. We do not buy personal information, and we do not sell or rent yours.

This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

What we do with it

We use what you give us to answer your question and to help with your move. If you ask to be introduced to a real estate agent, we share what you've told us with that agent, and only then.

Who else sees it

Form submissions pass through the service providers that run this site and deliver its forms, acting on our instructions only. We do not share your information for anyone else's marketing.

We may disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect someone's safety.

Seeing, correcting, or deleting your information

Use any form on this site, or reply to an email from us, and tell us what you want. You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will confirm when it is done.

Links to other sites

This site links to public sources (the county, the POA, schools, parks, businesses). Once you follow a link you are under that site's privacy policy, not this one.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version is posted here with a new date at the top.
